古民家生活を始めてから4回目の年越しです。道具の手入れや包丁のレストア、自分達で餅つきをして鏡餅や注連飾りを作り、新年を迎える準備をしました。
This is the fourth New Year’s Eve since we started living in the old house. We prepared for the New Year by taking care of tools, restoring knives, and making our own rice cakes, Kagamimochi (mirror-shaped rice cakes) and shimekazari (decorations for the New Year).
