In this video, I’m assembling the smallest energy-efficient brick stove in my forest cabin.
This stove heats up very quickly-with just one load of wood and maintains its heat for a long time. For the small size of my forest cabin, two loads of wood should be enough to heat it on a long winter night. When the cold weather sets in, I’ll definitely check this using thermometers placed inside and outside the cabin.
Approximate average hourly heat output:
with one firebox per day – 1200 W;
with two fireboxes per day – 2300 W.
